Depending on how you interpret the relationship between the two main characters, and the ending, you might argue that this is a utopian account, or a dystopian one - what do you think, and why?
I think that the film represents both: utopian and dystopian accounts. Once the bag tears apart, the communication, connection between them is interrupted. I think it shows how communication tools based on technology can be delicate and sometimes limited. They finally meet each other by chance, and the connection between them is reestablished, but face to face. Something to thing about is: what if they only relied on that "bag" and never met each other accidentally. Such mix of communication based on technology and face to face is something to think about. Many people say that technology is limiting face to face communication and more and more people rely on the comfort and safety of technological communication and that may be a dystopia.
